What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
