Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
